Help - MacBook Pro taking 1min 24sec to boot up !

I added in extra RAM but no joy !!

First of all, what helps is:

Remove all entries from SystemPreferences->Users&Groups->LoginItems, do this with the minus underneath. It will not uninstall anything but it will not (try to) start up these apps.

Test by doing a restart: it should help.

Then there are following notes to make:

-- The Hotspotshield: is it really compatible with Yosemite? Did you already uninstall it?

Same question for the Tube app.

-- Ambrosias must be uninstalled. If you need it, find a compatible alternative.

-- The Huawei software is killing, but already uninstalled I think. If not, uninstall it (irrespective whether you need it or not).

-- Uninstall Cafeine: you do certainly not need that.

same for MactuneUp.

-- You probably have the wrong Java installed: Read this:

(Do not pay any attention to the ads on this site).

-- Uninstall Growl: counterproductive; and Notifications is much better.

-- I have no experience with Equinux Media Center.

-- I think the installed Elmediaplayer is not Yosemite compatible, probably from a pre-Yosemite period. A real uninstall is advised.

-- and last but not least, you have a hacked Adobe software on your mac:

when you did use a keygenerator, uninstall the keygenerator and download AdwareMedic from http://thesafemac.com and run it, these keygenerator apps often install malware on your mac,

When you used a Torrent app, I propose to uninstall it because these torrent apps are very unsafe, and also the downloaded software normaly is compromised, use Adwaremedic.

You may choose to uninstall the downloaded app altogether and use an alternative, or continue to use it. In any case you have to remove remove some crap from your list:

In Finder go to MacintoshHD->Library->LaunchAgents and delete the ...adobe.CS5.... plist

the go to MacintoshHD->Library->LaunchDaemons and delete the ...adobe.Switchboard.... plist

-- The Bootcamp partition is too small, only use BootcampAssistant to change that. When you want to get rid of the Bootcamp partition altogether use only BootcampAssistant.

Altogether a beautiful mac ! Worth to do the little cleaning I proposed above.
