Q: I have a macbook air and i can not connect to my imac on my wifi connection

We have various units connected through our wifi - PC - IMac - tables and ? . THe new Macbookair will not connect. Any suggestions

MacBook Air (13-inch Mid 2013), OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)
