Q: Channels order focusrite with logic pro 9

Hi,

I have an imac 27" mid 2010, logic pro 9, a focusrite pro 40, and an octopre dynamic. I have set everything up together and it works perfectly fine. Now the Channel #1 of my octopre appears as input channel #11 on logic instead of #9. So i called focusrite and they told me that's the way it is with logic because of two extra inputs or something like that... They also told me that this problem doesn't exist in pro tools. Also, that the best thing to do was to contact apple in order to see if there is a way to go around it.

I'm wondering switching to protools because this issue could be very confusing during a session. So my question is : Is there a way to have all the channels in a numerical order?

Thanks,

Q.
