Safari won't play netflix while external monitor is plugged in. Whoops Display error. Same behavior on different mac. Gives error code S7363-1266-48444350. Did not have this problem in Maverics.

I found a work around!
Goto Preferences/advance and turn developer mode on.
In the develop mode, change the user agent to either some older version of safari or something else.
Netflix plays again with out having to switch to firefox/chrome or unplug my external monitor
This has been reported to Apple in the 10.10 version. It's unfortunate that they decided not to address the bug in 10.10.1 Maybe 10.10.2 if we're lucky.
Instead of using Safari, I use Chrome browser which then plays Netflix through thunderbolt / VGA adapter on an old ViewSonic monitor
Thanks NG5Y.
And thanks Google. I'm using the Google agent, and Netflix is back in biz.

I had this problem right after upgrading to Yosemite - I'm assuming a new Safari come along
NG5Y's fix worked very quickly - User Agent Safari 7.1.2 solved the problems instantly.
Either a genuine Safari problem, or perhaps Netflix not cooperating..
Tried the work around suggested by NG5Y and it did not work. Guess I will be using Chrome from now on. I wish they would actually address this issue, its been too long. I must say I am becoming more and more disappointed with Apple lately.
