Q: Why can't i change my desktop and screen saver image?

I have just installed Mavericks and can't change the desktop picture or screen saver.

I have tried repairing permissions - no difference. I have also tried removing a .plist file with no effect either.

Please help!

Did you restart after deleting the .plist file? Did you delete the System Preferences .plist file?

I can¹t reply to Eric Root and you don¹t give me any choices to say that his

suggestion doesn¹t work and isn¹t helpful.

I can¹t reply on line either since there¹s no reply box to his reply.

The problem is still there and there¹s nothing Apple seems capable of doing

    about it.

Please let me know if there is anyone out there who can solve this upgrading

    issue!
