Safari 8 Favorites bar is centered. How to left align?

I have several favorite bar folders that I've used for years.

They have always been on the left side of my browser, near the file menu.

Now Safari 8 wants to center them.

This is bad design. Whenever I add a favorite to the bar it moves the location of my favorites folders so that they are never in the same place.

My favorites folders should stay in the same place, where I want them, and not move around willy nilly so I have to search for them every time.

How can I fix this?

And no, I don't want to use the sidebar, that is not a solution.

The URL bar can be left aligned by customizing toolbar and removing one of the flexible space items.

Too bad this doesn't exist for fav's.

But it gave me an idea to create multiple duplicate dummy bookmarks in the fav bar to the right of my folders and give them names with many spaces like: . .

It takes 11 of them to left align my folders. It looks a little clunky, but it works for now.

If anyone can improve this idea I'm all ears.
