Q: Having trouble re-downloading purchased tracks...

I bought Justin Timberlake's "The 20/20 Experience-2 of 2" the day it came out (Sept. 30th, 2013) and had it on my phone for quite a while, but had to remove it from my phone for storage purposes. Today, I went to resync it to my phone and all of the tracks had doubled. I decided to delete any duplicates and now I'm missing "Cabaret", "TKO", and "Murder". I've looked at the album in the store and all songs, but the three I'm missing, arealoowing me to play them. The three I'm missing just say "PURCHASED" and only let me preview them in the store.

Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello there, bovar.

There are some great steps in the following Knowledge Base article, including how to download previously purchased Music on your iOS device:

Download past purchases - Apple Support

In particular, this section should prove helpful:

    Before you begin

    1. Sign in with the Apple ID that you used for the original purchase. Use these steps to see which Apple ID you used to download an item.
    2. See if the content is available for redownload. Previously purchased items might not be available if they're no longer on the iTunes Store. If you changed your Apple ID from one country to another, you can’t download items you purchased in a previous country.

If you're using Family Sharing, you can use these steps to download your family member's content.

Download previous purchases on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Make sure your iOS device meets these system requirements:

    • iOS 4.3.3 or later
You need iOS 5 or later to download items to iPhone (CDMA model).
    • iBooks 3.0 or later to download books

    Music

    1. Tap Settings > Music and make sure Show All Music is on.
    2. Tap the Music app.
    3. Find the item that you want to download.
Music app showing Pacific Air: Stop Talking
    4. Tap the Download  icon.

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.

    Cheers,

    Pedro.
