cant connect to app store with new iphone 6
iPhone 6, iOS 8.1.1, cant connect to app store
its not the iPhone 6 its the app store it was down yesterday and today,i think something is going on with the app store , maybe they are fixing it ore something
thanks for reply but my iphone 5s is on app store right now and my iphone 6 still gets notification cannot access app store. So I think it is something to do with my iphone 6.
what iOS is your iPhone 5s running is it the new 8.1.1, no i said its not your iPhone 6 because my iPad air 2 that i just got yesterday its like that to it connects and disconnects and i want to apple retailer store and they said its the app store its not my iPad air 2 ,thats why i said its not your iPhone 6

My iphone 5s is not iOS 8 as I had heard of too many issues with it but really wanted the iphone 6 now regretting that move as I have other issues with it that never had with iphne 5s. It most likely is iOS 8 hope they fix it soon I also have ipad air 1 with iOS 7 an deffinately not upgrading to iOS 8 with it I use it too much to go to an operating system that seems to have so many issues.
OH I see bout the 8.1.1 it says it was made to fixes bugs and increased stability and performance improvements for the iPhone 4s /iPad 2 it says it when your updating the software ,and if your iPhone 6 its not fixed bay tomorrow then if you have free time go to apple retailer store make in appointment and tell them about the problem :-)
Hi again:Thanks for your reply my biggest problemis I am in Thailand right now and there is no apple store to go to only resellers and they have no help to offer and once bought no return. Took a chance and got burnt.
ok try this but first back up everything make sure all your information its backed up be for your doing the Reset , again make sure you have everything backed up because its going to delete all the information in the iPhone 6 and going to Factory setting with my iPad 2 i did 4 time Reset then it worked so try doing the Reset with your phone 6 .but again make sure all your information is backed up be for doing a Reset
go to your system preferences ,then click on General scroll down in tell you see the reset then click on it ,then click on the erase all content and settings this way its going to factory settings

My iPhone 4 running 7.1.1 is on App Store perfectly - but my new iPhone 6 with 8.1.1 will not connect! Very frustrating.
There has to be a fix for this other than resetting- especially since I just did that and it did not work.
There are no Apple stores in the Philippines (just resellers with no decent training) - so I am hoping this forum will give me answers.

My iphone 6 plus had this exact problem.
Try going to settings, iTunes and App Store then click
on your apple ID.
Make sure that all of your information is correct like credit card etc.
My issue was that my card expiry had changed and once I corrected it
the App Store started working again!

My Iphone 6 plus cannot connect to app store today. After checking this thread, I found my Credit card is about to expired. I went to Settings ---> Itunes & App store --> View Apple ID --> Payment then set to None. App store backs to work again.
Apple, please display a message tell us why app store not working better than just stop it. Who knows what is the reason. Talk to your support, always as to restore the phone. What a point? After restoring and put the same apple ID then it not gonna help.
Please please let user know the reason!!!!
you need to log in to iTunes store for app store to work in the iphones/ipads ,i think its because of the new 8.1.1
