Q: iWeb will not publish linked file

I have been using iWeb successfully for several years.  But now suddenly, when I try to publish a linked PDF file I get the response "There was an error communicating with the FTP server.  Try again later or check with your service provider".  Other content changes are still published quite happily.  I am slowly migrating my website to EverWeb but I'd like to squeeze the last drops of life out of iWeb.  Can anybody help?

    This error is caused by a media file having a space in the front of its name. Here is one way to solve this issue. The other is to find the media file and remove it from your website, rename it in the Finder and re-add it;

    I may receive some form of compensation, financial or otherwise, from my recommendation or link.

    Thank you very much for your prompt advice. Changing the name of the file and moving it around didn't help and I'm reluctant to spend money on iWeb SEO Tool as iWeb seems to be in its twilight zone - I've had other problems with hyperlinks since upgrading to Yosemite.  I'm minded to accelerate my switch to EverWeb which I have purchased and hope that solves all my problems!
