Closing Syncservicesagent

How I was able to close syncservicesagent (SSA) to allow an Outlook Update to proceed:

click on the APPLE logo, top left

Force Quit

Initiate Force Quit - Note: Finder will not quit

Open Outlook

Click on HELP in tool bar

click on Check for Updates

Start the update process

When the need to close open programs pop up, close all, including SSA.

This will allow SSA to close for install of the update.

It worked for me on 11.24.14
