Mid 2014 Macbook Pro trackpad not responsive or not working at all
Hi
I just recently purchased a new Mid 2014 13' Macbook Pro with retina display and right off the get go encounter an issue. As I was working my way through the setup process using the built in trackpad it suddenly just stopped working. I could move the cursor around but wasn't actually able to click or select anything. Luckily I had a USB mouse and hooked that up and continued on. The next day I had the same issue, I wasn't able to click anything. The strange thing was if tapped the trackpad using two fingers to initiate a right click it would respond, bringing up any right click options as it normally would. I was able to shut my computer down and restart it using the right click options, however when I restarted it the problem still occurred. I restarted it again and all of a sudden it was fixed, I was able to left click using only one finger without any issues. Since then this has happened plenty of the times and has become very irritating. My MBP is currently running Mavericks 10.9.4 and I read that an updated for OS X Yosemite was in the works to fix the problem, but was just wondering if anyone else has encountered a similar problem and if so are there any fixes for it?
