Jan 21, 2015 12:10 PM in response to mogil411by dslunceford,I'm using my 6 on ATT outside of DC in northern VA. Has been very frustrating and occuring 2-3 times a week. I've also had cases where the phone call just dies (even though I'm at 3 bars of signal..it drops to zero and disconnects).

Feb 3, 2015 3:06 PM in response to peejay5410by PC72,- Im having the same issue on an at&t iPhone 6. It goes both ways on mine, sometimes I can hear people perfectly and they're saying I'm cutting out, other times I the person I'm calling sounds garbled and cuts out, but when I call them back they say that they could hear me fine. Every time it happens I have to disconnect the call and call back. Sometimes it happens 4 and 5 times in a row. I'm starting to realize that when I call people and I don't hear it start ringing relatively soon, what's happening is that the call is connecting on the other end, but i just can't hear the person I'm calling. Sometimes I can hear a few garbled sounds from the other end, but once again the people I'm calling tell me later that they could hear everything on my end perfectly. I'm also having an issue where the phone rings, I answer it, it's connected but I hear nothing on the other end. Each time this occurs, the callers are sent to voicemail even though I have answered in time. This is ridiculously annoying when I'm trying to make calls for work. I'm going to try the deactivating LTE fix described in this thread and cross my fingers. I hope they fix this soon, I just switched from Verizon to at&t and I'm already regretting it. I'm located in Cincinnati btw...so this isn't isolated to the states listed before.

Feb 19, 2015 11:56 AM in response to peejay5410by csuslo,I finally sucked it up and went with apple (bought my family five Iphone 6 (not pluses) and my wife and I (who use the most voice) both have terrible voice, we can hear them they say we're all garbled. I was told to close all apps before making phone calls but I don't think this helps. I used to complain that I couldn't hear others on Apple (I can never hear my best friends!!), now I've succumbed. IPhone 6's are 100x better than Android otherwise (we had Samsung Galaxy 3) but what the **** - how difficult is it to make a PHONE call!??

Feb 19, 2015 12:04 PM in response to mgloriaby csuslo,Great, so we'll just have to remember to turn LTE off before answering any call and back on every time we hang up, how convenient.

Feb 19, 2015 3:23 PM in response to skidoctorby csuslo,My problem was from day 1 as well (bought in December). My buddy bought I phone 6+ just before me with Verizon (here in Vegas) and had exactly same problem. I told him how bad it was and I was afraid to buy and guess what. Way better than Android but this problem means it's still crap and I'm out $900 times 5 phones. Oh well, easy come...

Apr 10, 2015 3:38 PM in response to peejay5410by flyway,I too have had this problem since day one with my 6. Not only do I sound garbled, but I have had many people tell me I sound like I'm in a tunnel. And, I can hear, what I can best describe, as feedback in the earpiece. It doesn't seem to matter how strong or weak the signal is for it to happen. I have turned off LTE and will see if that helps.

Apr 10, 2015 6:15 PM in response to flywayby Jamjarich,I bought a Microcell extender from AT&T, reluctantly, when my new IPhone 6 dropped calls and callers could not hear me. I did not think I should have to take on extra costs when my previous phones worked fine in my home but having 4-5 dots makes it worthwhile.

Apr 12, 2015 9:53 PM in response to mogil411by Jenny1274,I dont really understand what this LTE is for but I do believe if Apple has it on the phone it should work! My frustrations are there with everyone else on this post. Thank you for your help! People can actually hear me now with the LTE off

Apr 14, 2015 11:31 AM in response to flywayby MegBear26,Is there another solution besides turning off LTE? I am in MA with Verizon and this *just* started happening to me today. If I shut down my phone and turn it back on again, the problem is resolved for ONE phone call. If I make another one after that, I get the same thing; people can't hear me and say I'm breaking up and I sound all garbled. This is very frustrating.
