YYou don't import a library you open it. What version of the trial were you using? The media and projects and libraries are completely independent from the application.

OR do you just mean import the media?

DDid you export the finished video from the trial version? How big is it? Can you copy it onto a jump drive or an external drive and move it to the other machine?

I attempted but not even sure if i did it right.  The button on the far right with the arrow pointing out of the box is the correct one right?  every time i go ahead and do that it never goes through.  I really appreciate your help and the quick responses.  its just a pain in the butt.

Don't worry you won't lose your work unless you do something like delete the library.

To work efficiently, all your media and projects should be on an independent HD but I assume yours is the the Movies folder on your laptop.

If you have enabled sharing between both computers, you can simply connect them together and drag the Library in question from one device to the other using finder.

Far better to put the library onto an external HD - and back it up onto another drive for safe keeping. Drives fail occasionally, with catastrophic results for video projects.

Much quicker to copy the Library to a new drive with Firewire or other high speed cable connection - but yes, Airdrop should do it (I've never used Airdrop) via Wi-Fi. You won't be able to edit via Wi-Fi though - it's not fast enough.
