The "Phone " app crashes. Can't make phone call.

I am so sorry to hear you are having such obviously frustrating issues with your brand new iPhone 6 Plus. I also apologize, I'm a bit unclear on the exact nature and scope of the issue you are describing. If you are persistent issues with the Phone app crashing during use, you may want to first try resetting your device (if you haven't already):

Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset

If you are still having issues after a reset, you may want to make sure you have a current backup of your data in iTunes, then try restoring your iPhone to factory settings and testing it in that default condition to see if the issues persist before restoring the apps or your data. Hi brendan,

I have tried all the troubleshooting ideas you have suggested, and unfortunately I still have issues with the phone app freezing or crashing.

I have spoken at length without applecare, on numerous occasions, & still no resolution.

Very frustrating.

Do you have any other ideas I could try??

If anyone else has this problem, I went to settings>contacts>Accounts>outlook and removed contacts from syncing and deleted them from my phone, restarted the phone and I have had no problems. Something is probably corrupt with outlook syncing.
