Q: How to clear cached invitees’ email addresses in Calendar?

Hi!

On Yosemite, I sometimes add invitees, which are not saved as contact within my Addressbook App, to appointments just by using their email address. Calendar app seems to cache those addresses for later use. This becomes annoying e.g. if there is a typo within an address.

How and where can I clear the list of cached addresses?

In Mail App there is a window "previous recipients" (window > previous recipients) but is there something like that in calendar as well?

Thanks,

Paul

    Hi Paul,

I haven't tried to delete this file to remove any recent recipient from the Calendar client, but you may edit typos in here:

    ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.corerecents.recentsd/Data/Library/SyncedPreferenc es/recentsd-com.apple.calendar.recents.plist

    Cheers,

    Helge
