My search bar disappeared. how do i get it back?

The search bar on safari home page disappeared. How do I retrieve it?

MacBook Air, OS X Mavericks (10.9.3), mac book air OSX 10.9.3

Some possibilities:


The search bar and address bar are combined (i.e., there aren't 2 separate entry areas).


The Safari View menu has a Hide/Show Toolbar command.


Right click (Control click) on toolbar will bring up a Customize Toolbar command and from there you can drag the default set (or just the address/search bar) back onto the toolbar.
