Finding that my iPhone 6 freezes which switching between app [double click home button to switch to another open app]. takes around 5-10 seconds to come back to life. Also the odd freeze when using Siri and making calls.
Anyone else experiencing this issue?

I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with your new iPhone 6. I also apologize, I'm a bit unclear on the exact nature and scope of the issues you are describing. If you are having multiple issues with delays or freezing in different parts of the OS, you may want to first try resetting your device:
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset
If you are still having issues after a reset, you may want to make sure you have a current backup of your data in iTunes, then try restoring your iPhone to factory settings and testing it in that default condition to see if the issues persist before restoring your data. I've tried both of your suggests with no luck.
Sporadic freezing within the OS, not in app use, mainly when switching between apps
Additionally I've been logged out of iClour & iMessage on several occasions.
HAving some one issues when using the dialer, mainly a lag in the UI moving from the contact details into the phone UI.

Hi, I started having this issue recently as well. iPhone 6 freezes when switching apps. Were you able to resolve your issue?
iphone 6plus doing the same (on iOS 8.3). Random in that I've not installed anything new?! But today it's been really slow and every time I go to the app switching screen it freezes for around 15s and then kicks me back to the home screen. Tried the above- no joy.
Hi Go to settings Restore iPhone back to Factory Settings this will get rid of any bugs . After restore use same Apple ID then you will get your Apps /Data back . Cheers Brian

Used Settings / General / Reset / Reset All Settings. It says it does not erase data and it did not.
I found a fix on another thread (app switcher becomes unresponsive for 15 seconds or so).
Go to "settings", "mail, contacts and calendars", then scroll down under the "contacts" section and tap "show in app switcher". Disable both these options.
Several other users reported this as a workaround for the app switcher hang.

I've been having the same issue, just randomly started freezing one day as I changed between apps. This fixed the problem for me - thank you!
Killing the contacts in app switcher worked for me too.
This worked for me. I think what's happening is that the OS is trying to parse the data from all the iMessages which is a major problem if you have all your messages saved. Under Settings > Messages > Message History I have set "Keep Messages Forever", which equates to over 3GB of info. You can tell the phone is hung and the CPU is working very hard because it heats up quick and drains the battery a few percent every time it goes through one of these loops.
This never happened before moving to iOS 8.2.1 (for me), so it appears to be a SW bug.
