Q: What about OS-X machines with Music Match Enabled?

I have two Mac computers (call them Computer A and Computer B) that both have iTunes installed. (v12.0.1.26).

I recently wanted to trim down my music library because I put a lot of junk in there I really don't want to listen to.

So I went into Computer A, which is signed in to Music Match and deleted from the device AND iCloud for each item I wanted to delete.

After spending hours pruning my music library, I decided to look at Computer B to see if the changes went into effect there.

Unfortunately, all the music that I deleted from Computer A and iCloud was still on Computer B.

I tried "Update iTunes Match" from the menu on both computers and it resulted in an inconsistency between them.  Is there no recommended way to delete music across OS-X devices simultaneously?

    Hi

If you have your music on both computers iTunes library and hard drive, this is what will happen. Deleting tracks from library and cloud on one computer will not delete them from your other computer.

If you add icloud status column in song view, you will see if tracks are matched or uploaded. The status for the tracks deleted from the other machine will be shown as "Removed".  If you make a playlist based on icloud status = removed, you can then delete them.
