Not able to power on anymore

This morning I was listening to music on my Ipod Touch. I had about a half a charge left on my battery. Tonight I turn it on to check on the time, I push the power button and nothing comes up. The screen is blank. I go plug it into the wall to charge the battery, and again, nothing comes up on the screen. I go in and hook it up to my computer. And again, the screen on the ipod is blank.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what could be wrong and how I can fix the problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try another cable

- Try on another computer

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
