how many songs does the new ipod 32 and 64 GB holds?

i am looking to upgrade my ipod classic 160Gb with a new one, but apple doesn't list how many songs each model can hold, anymore. Does anyone know roughly how many songs the 32 and 64 GB models can hold?

iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2011), OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

actually that answer doesn't really help me. what do you mean calculating it??... right now my 160 GB still works and right now it only has 5,000 songs on it but i was looking to get one with bluetooth capability so i can play my music in my pool to swim with and i need a bluetooth capable player... I need to know if 64GB can hold 5,000 songs or not or can it hold more than 5,000.

Its very close to impossible to accurately tell how many songs a device will hold. Because that comes down to the the file size of the songs and that can change drastically depending on the quality of the song, the length of the song, the compression of the file etc...

You can have a song that is 3MB, and a song that is 8 or 10MB.

Your best bet is to know how much space your 5000 songs are taking up in your iPod. if they take less than 35% of the 160GB Then you'll know if they will fit in a 64GB iPad.

But only you can know that. nobody else can possibly tell you whether they will fit or not, because nobody else knows how much space they take up.
