Any one trying to link Intel P3700 SSD PCIe with MAC PRO?, i has one and has sonnet thunderbolt chassis, but system do not recognise them. I am going to NVME org site, and look for driver for various linux system except MAC OS. May be someone know how to friends them, or may be some one has kext for this type of SSD. Or may be some one know when apple add support to mac os?

Full support including TRIM (for Apple devices only) was available in 10.6.8 and later.
My Mac OS do not recognise Intel P3700 with NVMe but Wind 8 yes. Wrong version displayed in previous topic - intstead of 10.8.4 on my Mac 10.10.1
I'm with you. I have not seen any public notes it's going to be supported. The ideal case somebody would try to port NVMe FreeBSD driver. But no matter of OSX BSD nature it may be even harder than right it from the scratch.

But it still do not recognise by mac os x 10.10.3, and support cannot tell nothing except :i will do for you al you want if i can.
MMay be some1 know when they turn on 3rd party nvme ssd on their Mac OS?

Note: Apparently it cannot be used to boot a Mac, at least at this time.
