Wow.. this post is from 2014. It is June 2017 and Xcode still has this terrible bug.

The cursor jumps, appears between two lines instead of where it really is.

When typing, characters appear in the correct position.

It is amazing that Apple doesn't take care of such kind of bugs but keep investing in sophisticated features.

There are so many bugs in Xcode that seems to be very basic. Auto completion matches the level most IDE's were ten years ago.

Apple, stop adding new features and start finishing the basics, Xcode is now light years behind IDE such as IntelliJ.

Xcode shows red error in code that were already taken care of when when building it shows success and vice versa, it doesn't show errors that building the project shows. It is like Xcode is too slow to understand the code while other IDE's understand it before the programmer wrote it. Why is that?

In addition to the cursor jumping suddenly and appearing between two lines of code, the whole code lines text jumps up and down.

Apple is betting on the wrong horse when investing in languages such as Swift instead of having one language working properly. I could list hundreds of bugs.
