Music purchased from the iTunes Store that is on an iPod can be copied from the iPod to a computer using the Transfer Purchases feature - see this article -

If the music you want to move to the computer was not purchased from iTunes, it is not possible to move it to a computer. See this article -

Synchronization generally occurs only in one direction, from your computer to your iPod. This means you typically cannot transfer music, automatically or manually, from your iPod to a computer, and you cannot use iPod to copy a music library from one computer to another.
