Keyboard Stops Typing in Browsers

Hello All,

When typing or using arrow keys in any internet browser (I have tried Chrome and Safari), the keyboard will stop working unexpectedly. As I am typing this, I have to keep clicking on this field because the window "dims" as if I had clicked on the desktop. However, the internet browser (chrome in this instance) menu is still across the top of the screen. Like this:

In the above picture, the green border at the top should be darker.

If I am watching Netflix, HBO Go, or a video on youtube in full screen, the menu bar will reappear at the top of the screen, and so will the cursor, like this:

If I am playing a game with the arrow keys, my character will lock up and continue moving that direction.

All of these problems occur in both Chrome and Safari.
