how can I transfer large files from PC to Mac via internet?

I need to transfer about 500Mb of photos from my PC to a relatives Mac, via internet. I've used "wetransfer" to upload the files but my niece, on her Mac, can't download from WeTransfer. What does she need to do on her Mac to enable her to download from WeTransfer. (I imagine she might have the same problem if I were to use Dropbox).

Thanks in advance.

  1. This is not a Mac Vs PC problem -- it uses browsers and emails
  1. WeTransfer Support> WeTransfer questions > Receiving transfers

How do I download a transfer that was sent to me?

To retrieve your transfer, click on the Download button in the email you received from us. This opens our website in your browser, where we look up the transfer for you. Once we've found it (can take a few seconds) a Download button will pop up. This button will start the download, and the file is saved to the folder where your other downloads are saved.

Once the download is finished, you can open the (.zip) file by double clicking it.
