How to restore IOS after I updated on Ipad 2
The folowing happened:
- Update IOS 8
- Reboot
- First I see the Apple logo
- I-Tunes connection is requested but I don't have a computer to connect with
Now I got stucked?
Can I restore please to the old settings, or can I skip the I-Tunes step?
Please help I'm on my holiday ..

No sorry you can't. You'll need to connect your iPad to the computer you normally sync with to restore your device.

No you can't.
Well that's pretty hard to understand Apple is leaving their users in trouble, with the upgrades without any way back... Now I read a lot of postings about this topics. When I knew this before I would not upgrade the IOS. Anyway thank you rbrylawski for your quick reply. You helped me by spending not too many hours figuring this out!

Apple isn't here, so your comment to them won't be read by anyone who matters.
On this subject, not being able to bypass this is for our protection. Otherwise, anyone could steal a phone and restore it for themselves. So, you won't get many people to agree with you that it should be easy to do without the computer we normally sync with. Sorry but that's how it is.
