iOS 8.1.1: Russian keyboard missing the soft sign

HI,

The Russian keyboard seems to be missing the soft sign. It used to hide the hard sign behind a long press, but now they keyboard has only the hard sign and no soft sign. The Ukrainian keyboard is fine: there's a soft sign and a hard sign behind a long press.

I haven't seen any mentions of this problem anywhere online.

This is on an iPad Mini, latest OS version (8.1.1).

It's still in the same place on my Russian keyboard on both iPhone 6 and iPad Air. I think it unlikely that only the Mini would be missing it. Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the apple appears?

The last 4 letters on the bottom row of my iPad mini Russian keyboard are : ь б ю ъ

The first of these is the мягкий знак soft sign.

Is yours different?
