Since ive updated to 8.1.1 ive been getting this extremely annoying popup dialog of cellular data is turned off. It give me options to settings or close. It does this even with wifi on. It will constantly popup with every app i open, every time. even turning everything on it continues, what should i do?

For me the problem is that I have turned 'cellular data' off for most apps, that I think don't need/use it e.g. contacts, they can sync when there's Wifi for instance. No need to use cellular data. Now everytime I open contacts, I get the anoying popup 'cellular data is turned off' , the same with the app Evernote that even has the setting 'only sync on Wifi'.
So Apple, please help with this problem, that is a real stain on the user experience. Apps become quite unusable due to this bug.
Specs: iPhone 4, iOS 7.1.2
I got the cellular capable IPad because it has satellite GPS and a gyro chip/accelerometer the others don't, not because I need the cellular plan. I hot spot with my phone if I need data outrside WiFi range. This cell data message is incredibly annoying. Enough to cuss Apple all day sometimes.

Just for purposes of clarity, all iPads have an accelerometer and gyro. The feature that WiFi+Cellular iPads have that WiFi only ones do not (in addition to cellular capabilities) is GPS.

This is a user-to-user technical support forum. Apple's participation here is minimal. If you need to speak to Apple directly, use the Contact Us link at the bottom right of every page or make an appointment at the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store.
You should try searching the forums for other threads on this issue. Perhaps someone here has had some success with this issue.

Thanks I will contact Apple directly at one of the local stores. Online it seems Apple has absolutely NO support service for their paying customers. Only for those who pay extra money for support and service. I am quite disappointed by this policy.
II've had this annoying popup for years on the Podcast app.
No pop up since I've used these settings (a week ago), and the podcasts download with wi-fi only:
Settings > Cellular > Podcasts > ON
Settings > Podcasts > Use Cellular Data > ON
Settings > Podcasts > Only Download on Wi-Fi > ON
