Why can't I add items to a shopping cart on several sites

I was able to correct this issue by adjusting my "cookie" settings.

Settings >> Safari >> Block Cookies >> Allow From Websites I Visit

I originally had it set to "Always Block". I hope this helps!

Make sure that JavaScript is turned on in Settings > Safari > Advanced.

Another thing you can do is try another browser than Safari. It may be something with the site's coding not meshing well with mobile safari.

You can also see if your site has a mobile site that is friendlier to mobile devices.

If its just this weekend or today - the sites may be very busy with shoppers.

Some sites - may want you to sign in before you start adding to your cart.

If I have problems with adding to a basket when not signed in - I will save the items url to the reading list -- and try the site later. Sometimes its just frustration with knowing what you want and having their google search bring up every item with just one work of the search.

If you put it in your wish-list - that will be kept in your cookies or website data file - so don't purge them before you try buying the wish list.

Ask the sites. I would think it is in their application coding.
