.asl files can't be opened by Photoshop, icons are grey rectangles with 'exec' on them?

I just got a bunch of Photoshop styles in the form of .asl files and tried to load them on Photoshop, but Photoshop didn't recognise any of these files. The file icons are grey rectangles with 'exec' on them.

May I know how I can open these asl files that seem to work fine for everyone else?

I use a CS3.

Much appreciated!
