Where are My Templates stored?

Forgot to mention, I'm using Mavericks with latest version of Numbers/Pages.
Thanks for the reply. I need to clarify that I was running Yosemite prior to performing the clean install. I followed the file hierarchy you describe but there is no Library folder within my User folder, as I navigate through my Time Machine back-up. There is a Library folder inside the icon for my internal hard drive that contains an Application Support folder. Inside that folder, I have iWork '08 and iWork '09 sub-folders but no subfolder within for Numbers (and hence no Templates folder).
Could it be that these folders are hidden or in some other location or possibly the file hierarchy in Time Machine is different than in an active directory?
In Numbers 3 it's a little more complicated:
In ~/Library/Containers/ you will find a file called com.apple.Iwork.Numbers
If you right click and Show Package Contents on that file, and then follow Wayne's path within the Data folder of that package, you should get to your templates.
Thanks for your suggestion but it appears we have different file structures. I have no Containers folder within the Library folder - or anywhere else that I could find. This continues to be a real mystery. Wonder if anyone from Apple ever follows these threads?
You are probably looking in the wrong Library. The one you want is the User Library, in your Home directory (which is what that tilde indicates), not the Computer Library at the root level of the hard drive and not the System Library in the System folder. The correct Library may be hidden on your system, in which case Finder > Go menu > (hold the Option key) > Library will open it.
Hi
The library Folder is hidden uder your user folder. Bets way to get there is to use CRTL SHIFT G and then type "~/Library". This brings you to the library folder under your user (~ stands for /users/<User>)
