This is my first iMac, I currently have an iMac G5/1.8 GHz PowerPC, version 10.4.11
I am wondering what software I can buy to make it the newest possible? "Snow Leopard, etc" I want to purchase one from the website but I don't want to purchase the wrong one.

That Mac can't be upgraded past 10.5.8. Buy a Mac OS X 10.5 DVD from a source such as Amazon or eBay.
