Recruitment email real?
Firstly I know this is the iPhone section, but there isn't a community tailored to generic questions.
In September I applied for a position at my local store in Melbourne Australia but I heard nothing back.
About 3 hours ago I received an email from Fiona (Applejobs@email.apple.com) with the following;
Subject:
Hello from Apple Recruiting - Fountain Gate
Hello Joseph,
I hope this email finds you well. My name is Fiona and I am a Recruiter with Apple Retail.
Thank you for expressing an interest in career opportunities with Apple. I wanted to reach out to you to introduce myself and ask a few questions to learn a bit more about you and see if we can match what you're looking for.
Were you seeking a Part Time or Full Time position with us, and what days would you be available to work? Please note, our Part Time requirements are at least four full days of availability, including full availability over the weekend. Our Full Time requirements are seven full days of availability.
2. Rights to Work
Are you on a visa? If so, please outline which visa you hold, any restrictions it imposes, and the expiry date of your visa.
3. Time Off Requests
What plans do you have for extended time off (three consecutive days or more) over the next six months?
4. Preferred Location
What are your preferred store locations?
5. Have you previously worked for Apple Retail, or have you ever attended an interview with Apple Retail? If so, please provide details.
I look forward to hearing from you!
Regards,
Fiona Rietwyk

The email is exactly the same as the email address I received when I sent off my application.
So I am not sure, it's very specific as I only applied for Fountain Gate being my closest store. 😕
