dropped iphone 6 plus in water

Hi there, I dropped my iPhone 6 plus in water the other day and then left it to dry out in the airing cupboard for a couple of days. I've just turned it on and the top 3/4 of the background is a little fuzzy and there is a line imprinted diagonally across the screen. Shall I leave it a few more days or is the phone ruined? By the way, I did try to use it a soon as I dropped it, which I know realise wasn't the right thing to do.

Thanks

I know it may be a bit late but I had just dropped my 2 week old, brand new phone 6 plus this morning in the toilet, I grabbed it out within 2-3 seconds, if that! Grabbed a towel, banged it on there then ran into kitchen, poured out rice in the bowl then shut my iphone off because my alarm started going off, and 20-30 mintues later I turned it back on because I had to get to work and everything seemed fine until it told me my headphones were in. So I was gone for about an hr but bought an air duster and once I got back home and put a tissue up there and it came out moist, so I put the straw of the air duster in the headphone jack, sprayed 2-3 times and put another dry thing of tissue up there and taped it and put it in rice, left it for about 2-3 hours. Had to leave again so I prayed an turned it on, It actually worked, everything is working great! But I got back an hr later and don't want to risk it so I aired it out a few times, shut it off again, put tissue in the headphone jack and taped it then stuck the iphone in an air tight bag of rice, its been in there for about 4 hours now. Rather be safe than sorry later. But wanted people to know about the air duster!!
