Q: Apple TV won't connect to Wi-Fi network
About two days ago it stormed here in Buenos Aires. I was using Netflix on my 3rd gen Apple TV when the signal was interrupted. Wi-Fi wasn't working until the next morning. I'm able to use my computer, iPhone, anything but the Apple TV.
The error message popping up is:
"There was a problem connecting to the network.
There's a problem with your network connection. Check your settings and try connecting again. (-3905)"
As I said before, Wi-Fi network works on every other device except for Apple TV and I doubt it's a problem with the internet though I still reset my router to factory settings, still I can't seem to connect.
I've also restarted the Apple TV and even reset two or three times.
I connected the Apple TV to the internet with an ethernet cable and it works just fine but it's not practical for me.
Apple TV says there are no software updates to be installed (7.0.2).
Anyone out there know a solution?! If not, I'll send it into Apple to try and fix it. But as I also said, I live in Argentina and I'd have to wait until February when I go to the US... Please!!!! Someone!!

HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY
Alright... so after al@teach's lovely and kind attempt to help, I got stuck at Step 4 in the video because I guess with the newer updates Apple has disabled the option to "Configure TCP/IP"... Maybe to make our lives a bit more simpler?
I went to my father's house over the weekend and took the Apple TV with me. All was fine and it connected. Today I am back home and I started thinking... it HAS to be a problem with my Wi-Fi...
So I went back to the basic troubleshooting steps Frank Caggiano linked me and I called my Internet company once again, this time a bit more informed. I asked if they could check if there was maybe a limit of connected devices and one thing led to another and it turns out the router was misconfigured. The man made me change the Wi-Fi's name and password and when I went to connect my Apple TV, it worked!
Thanks again, al@teach & Frank Caggiano for the help!! But again, I live in the third world... the guy from the Internet company didn't even understand me when I said 'Apple TV'.
To those having the same problem, I'd say double check with your router!! Xx
