Need driver for Selphy CP400 for Mac OS X 10.9.5

Hello!

I received a Canon Selphy CP400 photo printer brand new and for free from my mother. I have finally gotten around to setting it up, can't use the disc since I don't have an optical drive on my Macbook Pro Retina. The Canon website says there is no driver needed to run the CP400, however when I try to add a printer in my preferences, although it recognizes the printer, it says it does not have the available driver to run it. Cannot find it anywhere! Asia, Europe, and UK all seem to have drivers for this model for a mac computer, but none listed in the USA.
