I have an iPhone 6 and want to take a picture under low light conditions (of Christmas tree) but when I set the flash to "on" in the camera app it never flashes and the photos are very dark. Also tried Auto and that doesn't work either. How can I get my iPhone 6 to flash when I need it to or manually so I can lighten up my photos?
Apple camera *****. Sometimes I wish I kept my low end Samsung galaxy phone. It took way better pictures than any iPhone I’ve had. Stupid camera flash works on few occasions with the iPhone.
Close out of the camera app, double tap the home button and completely close out of the app.
Then do a reset, no data loss. Hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the device to boot back up.
Then check and see if flash works.
Thanks so much, that worked. But why does this happen? I flashed a photo 2 nights ago and then last night couldn't? I always close out of the app when not in use by swiping up on it, but why do you have to shut off and turn on the phone to make the flash work? Thanks, just trying to understand...
This really stinks. I took '1' flash picture and then it quits flashing again. Why even have a flash if you have to shut the phone off each time you use it??? This is ridiculous. There has to be something that can be done about this???
