I Just reported, here, that neither iPad is charging since iOS 8.1.1. I said I'd take it to Consumer Affairs and the BBB after a day's wait. I returned to say 8.1.2 doesn't fix this but my post had been deleted by a moderator. I'll proceed. Apple is not acknowledging this and deleting things so no choice.

i've owned computers since '82, I'm 50 years-old, and bought my, now 71 year-old mother, and I, 32gb iPads a few years ago and get this problem, find many reporting the same thing, and absolutely no acknowledgement of the problem. i've been a successful consumer advocate for decades. With my previous post having been deleted, I see no choice but to take the screenshots of every request for help on the same issues, to people who might be able to assist. Not happy and no choice.

With iOS 8 you can check and see what app or apps are using the most of your battery. Use the Settings App t check battery usage.

Settings > General > Usage > Battery Usage

Your apps will be listed there and a percent of battery usage will be shown. When you know exactly what app is causing your problem you can take steps to correct it.
