Microsoft Office 3.0 for Mac (Excel 4.0)

Hello Mac Community,

I am working on Christmas gift for my father in law and while many moons ago he made the jump out of the pen and paper age for his business and his life to a Mac. After 10 years of learning, he came to the pinnacle of his learning's, and that was his beloved Power mac G4, Loaded with OS 9.2 (He despised the changes of OS X so refused to move forward to there). At the same time he moved his way into MS Office 3.0 That included Word 5.0 and Excel 4.0 as well as AdressBook Plus 2.0 from Power Up and that was the end of his software eveloution.

Here is where I am stuck, I have rebuilt a close to new as I can get G4, with OS 9.2 I have gotten a working digital copy of Word 5.0 for Mac

I can NOT find a working copy of Excel 4.0 or AdressBook Plus 2.0 that I can install onto this 'new' system.

I have bought the floppy version of Excel twice and both time I get the discs and can not read them on this Mac so I am hoping someone can point me to a digital version of this software (I have a key here) that I can download it would be GREAT!

Hi, I no longer have a bootable OS9 Mac, but on an older drive I have Office 98 on an OS9 boot drive, it has Excel, Word, & PowerPoint, but version isn't listed.

I have a old hard drive with these programs installed, the problem I am seeing is that they are buggy (VERY OLD) installs that have a list of glitches that is one of the main causes for this project to build him a new on.

Any great way to move install application from old OS 9 Mac to a new Hard drive would be great help too.
