Dec 7, 2014 1:38 PM in response to vazandrewby Gruffalo2011,thanks that worked yesterday but the app,e tv icon is not visible now in the control centre. Networks the same and connected with full strength. Have tried this on 2 separate iPads. Help please!

Try connecting Apple TV via Ethernet
Full strength on the device won't be an accurate indication, you need a network report by going to istumbler,netstumbler or similar. Look there for signal strength, noise and nearby networks.

and the router needs to allow the required ports to be used

Jun 29, 2015 9:39 AM in response to Gruffalo2011by iamkeytar,I am having this same issue with my iPad. However my iPhone 5s has NO problem mirroring. My iphone and iPad are both on the same account and share between them and are on the same wifi so none of this makes sense!
