Anyone know if any of the Bose headphones are compatible with the 6 & 6+? I have the Bose freestyle and only one ear puts out sound, not sure if its an issue with my headphones or the product.

Yes, the iPhone 6 supports BT headsets and standard wired headsets. Try the headset with another device. Check the tiny openings in the headset to make sure they haven't gotten clogged with earwax. Check Settings>General>Accessibiliyt and make sure you haven't changed the L-R balance somehow.
Unfortunately, not the issue. The earphones are brand new, work in my computer and the L/R is set correct and the mono audio is off.
Also, on this phone the pop-up that tells you headphones are plugged in does not come up when I plug them in. Any other thoughts?
Have you tried them with another phone? I don't recall hearing that Bose used any weird profiles that the iPhone doesn't support. The iPhone 6 doesn't support any fewer than previous iPhones. But, double check with Bose. I'm sure their website would have information if that headset was not compatible with one of the most popular mobile phone manufacturers in the world.
My Bose headset will not work with my iPhone 6 plus either. It works fine with my computer, and it worked just fine with my iPhone 4s. Sounds like the jack is not all the way in. Did you find a solution?

Do you have a case on your phone? If so try it without the case.
Yes, there is a case. It does not make a difference with/without case. I opened a support ticket, and they suggested that I try the Apple supplied headphones, and see if they work. I have not done that yet, so when I do, I will update this thread. It could be the headphone jack in the phone itself.

FWIW I dug out my old Bose earbuds that are maybe 4 or 5 years old and they fit fine in my 6. Using a good light source take a peak inside the headphone jack and see if there's any lint or anything that may be preventing the earbuds from inserting all the way. If there is use a toothpick or plastic pick (anything non-metalic) and see if you can't dislodge whatever may be in there. Some suction from a vacuum may help as well.

As stated above, my QC2 headphones work fine with my computer, fine with my iPhone 4s, and does not work with my iPhone 6 plus.
Update: I found my Klipsch Image S4 II in-ear buds, and they work just fine. So I guess the 1/8" mini plug on my very old (~9 years now) QC2 headphones is just not compatible with the iPhone 6 plus. Weird, I would think that it conforms to some standard (both the plug and the socket).

Hi there, I hope you've found a solution to your problem. I just plugged in my bose soundtrue wired headphones into my 6 plus and they work great. I noticed in your tag line that you have os 8.1.1, have you updated to the latest version? If not i'd recommend that and if that still doesn't work then I would say it's the headphones.
Will Bose products work with iPhone 6?
