shared photostream upload stopped

I decided to create some shared photo streams on my mac. I started uploading and everything was fine, then it just stopped. I did a little research and found out that there are limits of 1000 photos uploaded an hour then the upload pauses until the next hour. OK... well it's been at least 3 hours and nothing is happening. I also noticed that some of what I uploaded shows up on my devices, but not on my Mac, weird. right? I restarted iPhoto and even restarted the computer in case there was a glitch somewhere. Does anyone have any insight? I even tried deleting a stream and recreating it, nothing happened.

I'm having a very similar issue. On my end...

- Made a new Shared Photo Stream

- Selected a group of 522 pictures in iPhoto

- Clicked on "Add To", picked "iCloud" and selected the new Photo Stream

- Pictures seemed to start to copy into the Photo Stream

An hour later...

- When I looked at the Photo Stream in iPhoto, there were 60 pictures

- When I looked on multiple iOS devices that I had shared the photos, there were 388 photos viewable

So what's going on?

- Its been 36 hours and I still just see 60 pictures in the Shared Photo Stream in iPhoto. Where are the other 462 images?

- And what's going on with the iOS devices, multiple devices see 388 photos from that shared stream, where are the other 134 images?

I've read and re-read the instructions on what to do, but it just doesn't seem that hard or confusing from a user standpoint. But what's going on and why is this so flakey? Should I just see 522 pictures in the iPhoto Shared Photo Stream? And shouldn't I see 522 pictures on all iOS devices?
