Q: Mail keeps asking for AOL password

It seems twice a week, when I sign on to check on my AOL account in Mail , a pop up window asks me to reenter my password. It then rejects it again and again. I go to Mail preferences and the password is blank for my AOL account. I reenter the password and its fine for the next few days.

Any suggestions on a permanent fix?

Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access - delete your password there and run Keychain First Aid.

Keychain Reset

Keychain Issues - Resolve see post by Kappy

If that doesn't solve the problem, delete the account and set it up again. For safety, export any e-mails to your Desktop before deleting.
