Imac power supply

I was told at the Genius Bar that my Power Supply for my iMac was shot. They recommended a repair facility, that unfortunately does not do repairs on iMacs anymore, so, I am asking here, is there somewhere I can buy a part and try to repair it myself. The following is the configuration: 2008 IMAC Core 2 duo, 24" 2.8Ghz/2Gb/320/gb/sd/ap/bt Model A1225 EMC 2211. Any help would be appreciated inhaling me find the correct power supply.

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014), Other OS, OSX 10.10.1 Yosemite

Mac Repair at https://www.ifixit.com is usually the place to start.

You'll see what is required to change the part and can decide if you're up to it. Some of the later iMacs can be a bear to open up, though the 2008 shouldn't be to big of a problem. If you decided to go ahead worth it it lists out the parts you'll need.

You can also look for an AASP in your area that will do the work. You can begin to find one by clicking Apple's https://locate.apple.com/au/en/ and then click the Service link.
