Whenever I plug the USB cable from my 30" monitor into the Dual-Link DVI adapter (which is connected to my Mid-2011 Macbook Air). The 30" monitor goes black. I unplug the USB cable from the adapter, the monitor fires right back up and works fine. Nothing is connected to the USB ports on the monitor... Any ideas? Works fine, but I cannot use the USB ports on the back of the monitor... Have tried resestting SMC & PRAM. Also tried replacing the power brick on the monitor thinking that it might be weak... Nope - none of it helped.
