I loaded $10 onto itunes and wanted to use it to buy in app purchases, now it wont let me update or download apps because it says it needs my bank info. why wont it use the itunes card all it wants me to do is put in a credit card number and charge my bank, I just would like to update my apps again its not even about buying things now!
If you're trying to buy something that costs, for example, $9.99, and all you have in the account is the $10 gift card, you don't have enough. Sales Taxes will be added to the purchase, which will exceed your balance. Thus, the need for a registered payment method.
I had 5.21$ left and I bought something for 1.99$ it went to my bank but now it wont let me update any of my apps.
I found out from Apple Support that you just click on the price of the song, do not click on the drop down menu as that will ask you for a credit card number. Hope that helps.
