Ever since the upgrade to IOS8 ( even with the updates to 8.1.1) I have been unable to use the Scrabble app to play the computer on a one-person game. The app just crashes and exits.
Are others experiencing this problem. I see that the app has had a chequered history. But I don't understand why it was perfectly fine with IOS7 and is now completely unusable

Start with these steps, but there are more in the article if you need them:
Restart the app
Close the app and open it again.
Restart your device
Update your device software and your apps
Update your device to the latest version of iOS.
Update your apps:
- Open the App Store and tap Updates.
- If updates are available, tap Update All.
- If asked, enter your Apple ID password. The updates will download and install.
You might need a Wi-Fi connection to update some apps.
