Reinstall Maps app
Hi,
I somehow deinstalled or deleted my Maps app. Where can I get it, to install it again? I can't find it in the Appstore nor the apple.com webpages. Any ideas?

Greetings amaridev,
The Maps app comes preinstalled on all iOS devices. System apps cannot be deleted, unlike apps downloaded from the App Store. There is a chance that the Maps app was placed in a folder at some point. If this is the case you can search for the Maps app easily by using Spotlight:

In the event the app cannot be found via Spotlight, it may be a sign of issues with your device software. You will have to reset the device to factory setting to restore the Maps app:

Hi, thanks for answering.
It's OS X not iOS. And there you can delete system apps very easily.
But in the meantime I got home where I had my Time Machine backup. Restored it and being fine now. Really a great backup solution. Saved me so many times now 😀
