How to convince my parents to get me an iPhone?

Here are my circumstances:

I am a responsible child

I get incredibly good grades

I babysit (reinforcing my responsibility)

I have a very good relationship with my mother and father

I bought and paid for my own iPad Air last year which neither of my parents were happy with

I have a Samsung, but it lives in my mothers bedside drawer, and she uses it more than I do. It doesn't have a very good battery life, and I can't call or text my parents because it is too expensive (my plan isn't very good)

I have a MacBook Air - mandatory for school (I got it for Christmas 2 years ago)

I have a dog and bird whom I take good care of

My parents use PC

My father has an iPhone 6 Plus, and I have been teaching him how to use it

Not a reason, just a reminder - all the students in my class have an iPhone (I asked each child - only 3 children don't and I am in seventh grade)

I have offered to pay half or more

I don't want a new one, and have been looking on gumtree for second hand ones. $500 or less only

I am familiar with Apple

I don't want anyone telling me why I don't deserve to get one, only positive comments please.

Can anyone list motivations / reasons why I should get one? I am willing to give up my iPad or computer (moving schools next year for high school).

Thank You!

First, I will assume you are allowed to post here ...

If your post is allowed, here are two thoughts:

  1. You say you plan to purchase a used iPhone. Be very careful about buying what might have been a stolen iPhone. Check and make sure it's not Activation Locked: Find My iPhone Activation Lock - Apple Support ... in other words, buy from a completely reputable source.
  2. If your parents are concerned about certain specific activities you might engage in, teach them about restrictions.

All of your points you've listed are positive traits and I congratulate you if true, but nothing in the list stands above and beyond what's expected of a young person such as yourself or anyone else for that matter despite what their age is. We are strangers. We don't know you. Only your parents know if you truly deserve one or not.
