Word document in Pages, table text disappears
I need to read Word documents involving large tables. The document is a university template document, with student work. If the text in a table cell becomes too long for the page, in Word the row just continues on the next page. When I convert the document to Pages, the next page shows the next row. The extra text from the long cell just seems to slip behind the lower margin of the page, and can sometimes be viewed by reducing the font size. But this does not always include all the missing text, and is hard to read. I use an ipad with ios7, and I don't want to upgrade to ios8, so using the new Office apps is not an option. Are there any other choices besides getting a windows machine?
